Stacey Poss assumed the role of Executive Director for Humboldt and District Chamber of Commerce (HDCC) in May of 2017. She completed Recreation and Leisure Management Diploma through SIAST in 2002. Assuming a position with the City of Humboldt as the Special Events and Program Coordinator till 2007. In 2008, Stacey started as the Executive Director of the Humboldt and Area Big Brothers Big Sisters, where she stayed until joining the Chamber in 2017. Her work and community volunteer experiences have allowed her the opportunity to work with all areas of local and provincial government, non- profits, and businesses in Humboldt and region to deliver programs and events. Stacey’s involvement in the 2005 Centennial Celebrations allowed her the opportunity to work with community leaders to host one of the most memorable experiences in her career, further developing her connections and skills in community development and partnerships. Her role with Big Brothers Big Sisters as the primary fund development and marketing coordinator gave her the opportunity to get to know some of the region’s businesses further. Stacey looks forward to getting to know each member and what the Chamber can do for them. She understands the Chamber plays a strong role in advocacy working with the Saskatchewan and Canadian Chambers to ensure a positive business climate now and in the future. Stacey’s focus is to connect each business owner with the right people and resources, working with our members, partner organizations and business communities to further the social climate and economic success of our region.
Stacey’s passions include bringing people together to achieve a common goal, being open and honest on matters that are important to individuals, gaining everyone’s perspective and achieving meaningful, solid outcomes.
