Marketing and Sponsorship Opportunities

The Humboldt & District Chamber of Commerce hosts the Mark of Excellence awards, an annual event that began in 2000. These awards celebrate the successes of Humboldt and area businesses over the past year. There are several levels of sponsorship opportunities available; sponsor benefits include complimentary tickets, recognition in our advertising, media, and the evenings program as well as the opportunity to be a part of the presentations.

The Festival of Lights has been taking place in the Humboldt Campground since 2009. Businesses can sponsor a spot and promote their business and send Christmas greetings for the entire season, regardless of weather. The Humboldt Campground is seasonal and this beautiful, well treed area is the perfect venue for the community to come together and celebrate the season. Through your sponsorship and participation the Festival of Lights is FREE to all who wanted to experience the magic. A donation box is present for those who would like to give and all proceeds of the Festival are donated to a different local charity each year. In 2017, 22 spots were decorated by local businesses and organizations. The support and enthusiasm of the community ensures the continued success of this great community event.

On the outskirts of the HDCC Office and Mini Golf stands the very prominent Welcome Sign. Several advertising spaces are available for Chamber Members ranging in size from 18" x 24" to 18" x 144". Currently all of our advertising spots are spoken for, call the office to get your name on our waiting list.

* The Chamber has just entered into an agreement with MagnetSigns to revamp the sign in a way that will afford our Members with the opportunity to have temporary advertising on our Welcome Sign throughout the year. Keep an eye on the transformation as you drive by.

The HDCC Mini Golf is 18 holes of putting fun.  Sponsorship of a Mini Golf hole gets you a placard with your logo on the numbering stand at the beginning of the hole, the opportunity to showcase your business or organization with a personalized structure and/or obstacles.  This is a great way to get your name in front of over 2000 people as they put through our course!  Currently there are three open holes needing sponsorship, call the office for details and pricing.

Chamber on Tap is the best way to make connections within the Humboldt & District Business community. Bring your business cards and be ready to network with your fellow members! Our Chamber Rep will be on hand to help you plunge in and break the ice.

This 'Members Only' event is hosted by our members and held at various locations around our region. Participants are provided the opportunity to meet and greet dozens of members and showcase their individual business. Appetizers are provided for Chamber Members and guests. Hosts are encouraged to personalize the event however they like and truly make it a time to shine.

The HDCC commits $1,000 per year to this scholarship fund. As a member of the Chamber, you can partner with us and provide additional funds for this award. As our partner, you will be recognized as such, in the media, advertising, on our website etc. At the same time, partnering with us in this initiative allows you to show your student staff members that you support them in their endeavors to pursue post-secondary studies and has the potential to increase the participation and retention of rural students in our region.
