celebrate the success of businesses, organizations and
individuals in the Humboldt area at the 12th
annual Mark of Excellence Awards held March 2nd
at Jubilee Hall in Humboldt.
We would like to thank all of

2011 BUSINESS HALL OF FAME Inductees
Announced
The Humboldt & District Chamber of Commerce (HDCC) is excited to
initiate Humboldt’s very own Business Hall of Fame. In 2011, the
HDCC will recognize the outstanding achievements of 3 prominent
people who have made a significant contribution to the business
landscape in Humboldt.
This year’s inductees are Wilf Chamney, Gerald Hergott
and Dennis Korte. We will celebrate the successes of
these three individuals at the Mark of Excellence Awards on March 2,
2011. This is a sold out event!

District Chamber of

Humboldt Hospital
Foundation partnered
together to bring
Saskatchewan's
leading business
commentator, Mr.
Paul Martin, to our
area for a tour and
luncheon on May
19th. Mr.
Martin focused his
address at the
luncheon on where
Saskatchewan was and
where we have grown
to be in terms of
employment rates,
exports,
opportunities,
immigration and
capital investments.
Mr. Martin's view is
that the "new
Saskatchewan is the
new normal".
